HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ Three inmates at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility were charged with capital murder in the October death of a fellow inmate.
Jason Strand, Kendrick Shears and Charvell Robinson, all 22, were charged Monday in Reno County District Court. They are accused of killing 28-year-old David Warren Jr.
At the time, it was thought Warren died from a brain aneurysm and sustained a cut when he fell, Schroeder said. An autopsy subsequently found a long, thin metal object had entered his brain through the corner of his eye and killed him.
