The Jackson County Sheriff's Office arrested three men in connection with a string of burglaries at the Holton Country Club.

The burglaries happened in March.

21-year old Robert Johnson, 18-year old Jacob Kolbek and 18-year old Daniel Baker each face 11 counts of burglary and six counts of felony theft, along with counts of conspiracy and criminal damage to property. The Sheriff's Office says Kolbek and White also face charges pertaining to the possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The three men were being held on a $50,000 bond.

52-year old Shelly White of Holton was also arrested for felony obstruction in connection with the case.

The Sheriff's Office says three search warrants turned up most of the stolen property. Victims of the burglaries can go to the Sheriff's Office in Holton at 1 pm Tuesday, May 13th, to identify their property.

Robert Johnson has also been linked to a residential burglary in Mayetta involving the theft of guitars and a game system.

What about innocent until proven guilty? It was my understanding that the Johnson kid was in jail and then changed his story and the other kids were charged. Less than a week later Johson is back in jail for another theft... HUMMMM Was he just trying to get out of one charge and NOT smart enough to stop...

Johnson commited the country club vandalisms. He tried to pin it on Baker and Kolbek in an attempt to save his own hide. Johnson prior to his lying, was friends with Baker. He showed up at Bakers with his new golf clubs etc.to hit some balls with the guys. He left the balls in bakers field after he was done, that is how they managed to have evidence on baker, the golf balls that Johnson brought over that they hit were found in the back. Theft and vandalism is completely uncalled for, i find it sad that the other two got thrown into it because who they believed was a friend lied and got them involved with his own ridiculous mistakes. Congradulations Robert.

The incidents happened in March. Don't you think that with an investigation if the Baker kid just happened to be there and he wasn't really involved, he wouldn't have been arrested. I mean come on.........

lock em and leave em in jail. Our town will be much safer without the thugs and drugs.

You people dont even know these guys. You have absolutely no reason to say anything. What they did wasn't intelligent, but you shouldn't say anything about something you have no idea about.
