The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is releasing new images it hopes will bring new leads in a 35-year old case.

An unidentified white male was found in a rural area southeast of Garnett in Anderson County back in April of 1973. The KBI says the victim was 18-20 years old, five-feet-eight to five-feet-ten inches tall, and 150 pounds. He also had brown, wavy hair that came to just below the ear.

The KBI had a forensic artist with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation do a facial reconstruction of the victim. They've also sent DNA to the University of North Texas Health Center in Fort Worth for analysis.

The KBI hopes releasing the information to the public will help them identify who the victim is and what happened to him. Anyone who may be able to help identify the victim is asked to call the KBI at (785) 296-8200.
