The Train Robbers leave Topeka for Bakersfield, California

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Pecos League announced on Thursday that the Train Robbers would be moving from Topeka to Bakersfield, California.

The Train Robbers played one season in Topeka.

The Pecos League is a professional independent league with teams in cities that do not have Major or Minor League baseball teams.

In a tweet from the Topeka Train Robbers they said, "Thank you to all the fans that came out and showed your support throughout the season #TopekaTrainRobbers."
