Junction City Brigade comes back to beat Golden Giants to force game three

Junction City, Kan. (WIBW) -- Junction City Brigade beat the Topeka Golden Giants 7-5 on Friday to force a winner-take-all game three for the Mid-Plains League Championship.

Junction City' Charlie Peyla hit a three run home run in the 6th inning to take the lead over Topeka. Eric Webb led the Golden Giants with 2 RBI in the loss.

Now the series heads to Topeka on Saturday for the final game of the series. Junction City is trying to win their third Cowdin Cup while Topeka is looking for their first.

Game 3 is Friday at 6 p.m. at Jerry Robertson Field.
