Jayhawks earn first conference win, beat TCU 86-77

LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Kansas Jayhawks women's basketball team earned its first conference win of the season Sunday, beating the TCU Horned Frogs 86-77 at Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks had four players score in double-figures, led by Christalah Lyons' 18 points. She also led the team in rebounds with six.

Kylee Kopatich nearly had a double-double, scoring 17 points and dishing out nine assists.

Brianna Osorio added 15 points and Austin Richardson chipped in 10.

KU takes the floor again on Jan. 3 in Lubbock against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
