Emporia State and Washburn split the Turnpike Tussle

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Emporia State and Washburn split the Turnpike Tussle on Saturday in Lee Arena.

The Washburn men beat Emporia State 83-69, behind Javion Blake's 22 points. The Ichabods are 5-0 in the MIAA and have won nine games in a row.

The Lady Hornets beat Washburn 70-62. ESU had four players score in double figures. This is the Lady Hornets' 12th-straight win in the Turnpike Tussle.
