KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) -- The Kansas City Chiefs announced Friday that Dave Toub, the team's special teams coordinator for the past five seasons, will be promoted to Assistant Head Coach.

"Dave has had the opportunity to work with our team on both sides of the football, on the field and in the classroom,” head coach Andy Reid said. “His leadership qualities have entrusted me to promote him to Assistant Head Coach.”

Toub joined the Chiefs in 2013. Since his arrival, The Chiefs have 10 special team touchdowns (six punt, four kickoff), the most in the NFL during that span.
