TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The 2018 rosters for the Kansas Shrine Bowl were released Wednesday.
Nemaha Central's Warren Seitz has been named the head coach of the East Team. He played in the game in 1981 representing Topeka West.
Assisting Seitz will be Walt Alexander from Topeka High and Garrett Michael from Sabetha.
The East Team will have plenty of players from NE Kansas, including: Wyatt Beyer (Sabetha), Jack Blummer (Marysville), Josh Boyd (Silver Lake), Anthony Geist (Wellsville), Jacob Glendinning (Washburn Rural), Mitchell Henry (Nemaha Central), Cade Holmes (Shawnee Heights), Connor Jeffers (Burlington), Tristan Lee (Burlingame), Tanner Matthias (Topeka High), Jonathan Olsson (Emporia), Brent Peavler (Hayden), Damon Schmidt (Olpe), and Dexton Swinehart (Lyndon).
The West Team features Xavier Cason (Junction City), Nik Grubbs (Manhattan), and Peyton Lane (Clay Center).
The 45th annual Shrine Bowl will be played at Carnie Smith Stadium in Pittsburg on July 28.
