WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) — The Greater Wichita YMCA Thursday afternoon released another statement regarding the arrest of a former employee accused of sex crimes against children.
The YMCA says Caleb Gaston's mother, Trish Gaston, is also no longer employed with the organization. Trish Gaston does not face any charges.
The organization says it is "devastated" to learn about new allegations against former employee, which come on top of a rape charge for which he was arrested last week.
Gaston was arrested last week and charged with rape in a reported Jan. 29 sexual assault at the Downtown YMCA. Police say they were investigating the incident when they identified a second victim in an assault that occurred Jan. 24.

The YMCA is devastated to learn that new allegations have been filed against a former YMCA employee for additional incidents that may have taken place at the Downtown YMCA.

Since this is now a police matter, our top priorities at this time and moving forward are to support our current and future YMCA families and cooperate with the Wichita Police Department in their ongoing investigation.
