TOPEKA (WIBW)- A 30-year-old Topeka man was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly striking his wife with a motorcycle following an argument.

According to the Topeka Police Dept., witnesses told investigators Jacob Lee Sender and his wife, whose name was not released, got into an argument around 8 a.m. at gas station in the area of the 2800 block of NW Topeka Blvd.

TPD says the woman walked off and that's when Sender came up from behind her and struck her with his Harley-Davidson. She reportedly suffered minor injuries and is expected to be okay.

Sender was taken to the Shawnee Co. Jail where he was booked on a count of Aggravated Battery, police said.
