TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) — No, it wasn't either one of those half-billion dollar lottery prizes from last weekend, yet someone in northeast Kansas is celebrating a big-time jackpot.
We don't know who it was, but somebody bought the winning ticket for Wednesday night's Super Kansas Cash drawing in this part of the state, the Kansas Lottery said Thursday. They didn't narrow down where the ticket was sold, just saying it was in northeast Kansas.
And, that ticket's worth a cool $356,871.
The winning numbers were 1-6-12-14-28 Super Ball Cash 16
While Powerball and MegaMillions are multi-state games (and demonstrated by the last two winners being from Florida and New Hampshire, respectively), Super Kansas Cash is Kansas-only. Plus, there's none of that "paid-over-the-next-however-many-years," the winnings come one lump sum.
The jackpot resets to $100,000 for Saturday. Drawings happen every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
