WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -- Wichita police have closed the special tip line it once used to collect tips for missing five-year-old Lucas Hernandez.

Officer Charley Davidson said the number of tips have steadily decreased in the case. He did not know by how much.

He confirmed Texas EquuSearch has returned to Wichita to continue to look for the missing boy.

Anyone who still has information about Lucas' disappearance or where he might be is asked to call Wichita police detectives at 316-268-4407 or CrimeStoppers at 316-267-2111.

The old line and number will no longer be monitored.
