WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -- The Wichita Police Department is investigating after the body of a three-year-old boy was found Saturday.
Officials say they were called to a residence in the 2000 block of South Vine after the property owner noticed a suspicious concrete structure emitting an odor in the house while cleaning.
Police removed the concrete structure from the house and later found the remains of the child inside.
Residents of the house, Stephen Bodine, 40, and Miranda Miller, 36, were arrested earlier this week and are being held in the Sedgwick County Jail on charges associated with a different child custody case.
Miller was connected to a 3-year-old that went missing back in July named Evan Brewer according to Kansas missing and unsolved.
Officials have not said whether or not he was the child that died.
An investigation into the circumstances of the child's death is ongoing.
Wichita Police have tentatively identified the child, but confirmation of is being coordinated through the Sedgwick County Medical Examiner.
