Two men sought after south Topeka Walmart robbed

Topeka Police are looking for two men they say were stealing from a south Topeka Walmart, when one revealed a handgun.

TPD says they received a call about an armed robbery at the Walmart on 1301 SW 37th around 11:15 p.m. Monday. Authorities say this started as a simple theft, when two men in their 20s were wandering the store.

Police say they may have been approached by someone in the store, and that's when a handgun was brandished.

The men later left on foot, reportedly leaving with a dog kennel.

Both men are described as possibly Hispanic. Each one was wearing a gray/black jacket, and one of the men had a beard.
