Twins inspired by Topeka Gives, give to Ronald McDonald House

TOPEKA (WIBW) -- Acts of charitable giving sparked a light in a young boy's life.

Kody and his twin brother Kayden Tummons paid a special visit to Topeka's Ronald McDonald house to drop off some toys and non-perishable food items that Kody collected from homes and local garage sales..

Kody was inspired to help the House on SW Buchanan, after his mother took him to this year's edition of Topeka Gives.

He had the chance to chat it up with Samantha Sacks-- the house manager -- and that giving seed was planted inside Kody's head..

"The more you give to people that needs help the better they give," he told us Monday night.

Ronald McDonald House is always looking for donations, and volunteers who'd like to help. They want to thank Kody, our bonus Good Kid this week!
