TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Sweet treats topped off a discussion on economic growth Thursday evening.

Hazel Hill Chocolate hosted Downtown Topeka Inc.'s After Hours event. People enjoyed samples and a chocolate fountain. After Hours lets people check out a locally owned business and how they can work together to help the city grow.

"It's one of the things that makes Topeka a place where'd you want to live and do business is you become part of a community and folks take care of each other and really try and build on each other's success," said Nick Xidis, who co-owns Hazel Hill Chocolate with his wife.

Xidis says his business has been around for 13 years, which wouldn't have been possible if not for the support of the community and other local businesses.
