Topeka-native to star in new CMT series 'Music City'

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) — A Topeka-native is set to chase his dreams of fame and success (not to mention a little romance) on an upcoming CMT reality series.

Bryant Lowry is one of five friends starring in the new series 'Music City,' which is scheduled to premiere in just few weeks, the network announced..

Lowry currently drums in a Nashville-based band. On top of that, he is a music producer and composes pieces for film and television, CMT says.

"He’s determined to put his career first and knows he’ll never love anyone as much as he loves music. In his free time, he loves working out and learning to play new instruments," they said in a release.

The show debuts at 9 p.m., Saturday, March 1st. It was developed by executive producer Adam DiVello, who also behind 'The Hills' and Laguna Beach.
