Topeka man sentenced on child porn charge

TOPEKA, Kan. (KWCH) -- A Topeka man will spend more than ten years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing child pornography.

Ryan Andrew Rivera admitted in court that he used Facebook to contact ten underage females and urged them to send him sexually explicit images of themselves.

In once instance, a 15-year-old girl sent the 22-year-old sexually explicit photos, and he forwarded those photos to another 15-year-old girl.

On Tuesday, He was sentenced to 10 years and two months in federal prison.
