TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A member of the 13 NEWS' team is a finalist in an international film competition, and needs your help to win!

Dave Uhler, WIBW-TV Creative Services Director, entered a worldwide film competition with his production company, Berkeley Square Media. Uhler and his team were given a prop, line, character and genre, then had 77 hours to create a short film. WIBW creative services producer Shaun Collins was part of Uhler's team.

Their entry, "Course Correction," is among 16 films worldwide in the running for an audience choice award. Dave says it's amazing to have his film make the cut.

"This is going around all over the world so all of the teams that are being chosen for this are all trying to get as many votes as possible," he said. "These are teams that are in New York and L.A. and France and Spain and all over the world. So we really just want to try and get as many votes as we can."
