TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Three Topeka High students got the chance of a lifetime, along with the school itself.
Zac Shaner, Nate Tiggs and Taty'Terria Gary were followed around by The New York Times for an article about college.
The main question in the article was about whether it was worth going to a four-year institution, or choosing a two-year degree, technical school or go straight into the work force.
How to get into college was discussed, along with how the students will pay for it.
Tiffany Anderson, the superintended of Topeka Public Schools, was also featured in the article.
Two Washburn Tech deans, Alan Bearman and Sean Bird, were also interviewed.
