TOPEKA (WIBW)--- A third teen has been charged in the June death of Justice Mitchell.

Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay told 13 NEWS the third suspect is 17 year-old Shayden Byrd.

Byrd is charged in juvenile court with felony murder, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and using a communication facility in commission of felony drug violation.

Tuesday, Kagay filed counts of first degree murder and possession with intent to distribute marijuana against 19 year-old Ernest Williams IV.

Prosecutors say Williams participated in the drug transaction that lead to the June 26th shooting death of Mitchell.

Lamero Dunstan, 17, was waived to adult court on charges of first degree murder and aggravated attempted robbery.

Prosecutors say Dunstan admitted to law enforcement that he arranged to buy marijuana from Mitchell, got into Mitchell's car, intending to rob him of cash and drugs, and shot Mitchell twice.
