Thieves take more than 50 cell phones from Salina store

SALINA (AP)- Salina police are looking for thieves who stole 58 cell phones from Sam's Club.

Sometime between 4:45 and 5:05 p.m. Friday (Sept.), police say three women and one man entered the store and went to the cell phone display.

There, police say someone in that group cut a lock on a box and the suspects took the cell phones out, concealing them on their way out of the store.

Salina police say the phones total value is more than $40,000.
