Slick conditions cause grain hauler to roll Monday on K-99

WABAUNSEE CO., Kan. (WIBW) Slick conditions are likely to blame for a Wabaunsee County crash that caused a grain hauler to roll.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 3 p.m. Monday.

They say Natalie Stanley, 39, of St. George was heading north on K-99 near Hereford Road when she lost control of her 2012 Honda CRV.

KHP says that caused Stanley to hit a Peterbilt truck driven by James Barry, 55, of Manhattan.

The force of the collision caused the big rig to roll into the west ditch.

Officials say both were wearing their seatbelt and both were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
