Missing Lenexa woman found dead in Topeka

LENEXA, Kan. (WIBW) — The 75-year-old Lenexa woman who was the subject of a statewide Silver Alert was found dead in Topeka Wednesday afternoon, the Lenexa Police Dept. said..

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation had issued the alert for Georgia R. Miner, who had not been heard from in nearly a week.

Authorities found her car at the Quality Inn, in the 1200 block of SW Wanamaker Rd.

Lenexa police say the Topeka Police Dept. will handle the investigation.

Topeka Police have told 13 NEWS that no foul play is suspected in her death.
