CUBA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Kansas Bureau of Investigations has issued a Silver Alert for an 81-year-old Cuba man who has been missing since Tuesday.

The Republic Co. Sheriff's Office requested the KBI send the alert for Charles "CL" Adams, who went missing from his home in the rural Cuba part of the county earlier this week.

Adams is described as a white man, 5'6" tall, weighing 165 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing overalls. The KBI says he recently suffered a stroke.

The Republic Co. Sheriff's Office said they found Adams' 2002 Dodge Caravan near the area of K-148, not far from his home. They, along with members of state and local agencies and volunteers, searched the area and found no sign of him.

Investigators believe he may have been picked up by an unknown driver and taken out of the immediate area. They also warned he could be confused or disoriented.

Anyone who has seen Adams since Tuesday, or has information about where he might be, is asked to call the Republic Co. Sheriff's Office at 785-527-5655.
