MAPLE HILL, Kan. (WIBW) -- Nextgen's Chophouse in Maple Hill will donate 100% of sales Sunday to the family of Parker Monhollon.

Nine-year-old Parker was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor in January 2016. The Silver Lake Elementary student ended her fight against DIPG on Monday.

In a Facebook post, the owners of Nextgen’s Chophouse wrote:

“As parents ourselves, we are well aware that no amount of money will mitigate the grief of losing a child. It is our hope that whatever amount we are able to raise Sunday can help in a small way to give this family even more emotional support which they so richly deserve!”

Those interested in helping relieve Parker's family of medical expenses should visit Nextgen’s Chophouse Sunday, July 16th, from 11am-8pm. The restaurant expects a large response and no reservations will be taken.

Nextgen’s Chophouse is located at 215 Main St., Maple Hill, KS.
