RCPD releases names of victims in weekend shooting

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) — The Riley Co. Police Dept. has released the names of the victims in a weekend shooting.

Investigators say they have a suspect in the case. However, they have not released that individual's name.

The pair was identified as Lillianee Booker, 21, of Junction City, and Dameko Artis, 20, of Fort Riley. Neither of their injuries required them to be admitted into the hospital, RCPD says.

Officers learned of the shooting around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, around ten hours after when they believe the incident occurred. The shooting reportedly happened at the Blue Hills Shopping Center, in the 2300 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd.
