WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -- Olathe police have arrested a man suspected of killing a woman whose body was found in a Wichita home.
Officers with the Wichita Police Dept. reportedly found the victim's body in a west Wichita home early Tuesday morning. Investigators say she died from blunt force trauma.
Authorities had also gone to her home, in the 2200 block of N. Parkridge Street, around 10:30 p.m. the previous night to return property recovered in Andover, but were not able to make contact with her.
A few hours later, Wichita police were contacted by authorities from Olathe who said they found a 37-year-old man with the woman's car as well as more of her belongings. Investigators believe the man and woman were in a relationship.
Police have not released the name of the victim nor the suspect at this time.
Police say a child lived in the Wichita home, but was not home at the time of the killing.
