TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) — A popular Topeka restaurant is taking a few weeks off this summer.
Paisano's Ristorante shut its doors this week. But, don't fret, Italian food lovers, the owners say they are only doing so to make the place better.
"This is a much anticipated improvement to our store!" they said in a message on their website.
The restaurant, located in Fleming Place Shopping Center, closed at 7 p.m. Sunday to make way for a complete kitchen remodel that was set to begin the next day. Owners say they aren't able to open during the construction, which is expected to last less than three weeks.
They are looking forward to having their cooks back at work in that new-look kitchen by August 11.
Paisano's also has a location in Lawrence, at 2112 W 25th St.
