FREE eclipse glasses?! Here's where!

(WIBW) - Seems everyone has jumped on the solar eclipse bandwagon, which is making those special glasses you'll need to protect your eyes a hot commodity!

First off, yes you really do need the glasses. I explained why in this recent To Your Health report.

It seems people are having trouble finding the special shades in these final days before the eclipse. Being in or very near the path of totality is a very cool thing! I'm happy to pass along a couple more chances at free glasses.

13 NEWS has one last event coming up Friday:

5 pm Friday - Lake Shawnee Shelter House #4, in Tinman Circle. Limit two pair per vehicle while supplies last.

Topeka and Shawnee Co. Public Library
The library has moved up its distribution from Monday to Saturday! They have more than 1,000 pair in all. Adults must pick them up and they're limiting to two pair per family.
