Lawrence shooting victim says he was shot during robbery

LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) — Lawrence police are investigating a shooting after the victim arrived at the hospital early Monday afternoon.

The 20-year-old man told investigators he was shot and robbed around 12:30 p.m. at an apartment building in the 2300 block of W 26th Street.

Police did not release the victim's name. They did say he was shot one time and the injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.

Authorities have not identified a suspect in the shooting.
