TOPEKA (WIBW)- A state-wide stakeout is taking place across Kansas Friday, as members of the law enforcement community are raising money for one very "special" cause.

Rooftops of all 15 Dunkin' Donuts locations across the state are being occupied by local law enforcement until 2 p.m. Friday. The officers and deputies aren't looking out for any crime, but rather for donations!

13 News was live at the Topeka Dunkin' Donuts location, near 21st and Gage. The effort is all to raise money for the Kansas Law Enforcement Torch Run, a benefit for Special Olympics.

Officials hope to raise more than $20,000.

Dunkin' locations are making the fundraiser a little sweeter by handing out free donuts to those who donate.
