KHP requesting public feedback

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Kansas Highway Patrol is looking for feedback.

KHP is working to become a CALEA accredited law enforcement agency. As part of that process, they're invited you to express your feelings towards the patrol.

You can make a comment Tuesday, March 13 at 5 p.m., in the Senate Room of Jayhawk Towers.

The assessment covers four areas of law enforcement: policy and procedure, administration, operations and support services.

KHP has been working towards accreditation since January 2016.
