INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (CNN) -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly broke into an Independence, Missouri, dance studio, then returned wearing the leotard he'd stolen.

In the middle of the night, the suspect reportedly used a crowbar to break into Degage Dancewear, stole some merchandise and left.

"Barely any kids things (were taken)," said Krystal Bryan, of Degage Dancewear, "It was mostly adults. Maybe a handful of kids leotards."

But, he wasn't through. He left and came back a second time, wearing tights and one of the stolen leotards. There's a tattoo with letters on his back, which could be seen through the leotard.

He stole the usual things like a safe and other odd things, like dresses and books of merchandise. Catalogs were taken from another Independence studio too, as well as clothing, audio equipment and recital photos.

"There have been at least four or five other dance studios that have gotten broken into," Bryan said.
