Local chocolatier prepares for Valentine's Day

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The crew at Hazel Hill Chocolate Traditions is working around the clock to give your sweetie the perfect Valentine's Day.

But if you want a piece of the chocolate, Owner Nick Xidis says there may be a line to get it.

"People start lining up around 8 in the morning," he said. "It's better to arrive early, but we've got chocolate for everyone."

Valentine's Day shoppers have a choice of many gifts if they stop by Hazel Hill.

"We've got chocolate, gifts, and of course our chocolate covered strawberries, which can only be made the day of," Xidis said.

Xidis says that Valentine's Day is one of the most popular times at the chocolatier.

"We plan to make over 300 pounds of strawberries," he said.

Hazel Hill Chocolate Traditions is located at 724 S. Kansas Ave.
