Former vocal teacher pleads guilty to sexual relations with student

TOPEKA (WIBW)--- A former high school vocal teacher has pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual relations with one of his students.

The Concordia Blade Empire reports Kevin Johnson, 53, entered the plea Tuesday in Cloud County District Court.

He will be sentenced July 11th. Johnson was arrested March 26th for consensual sexual intercourse, lewd fondling or touching of a student.

Johnson served as vocal music teacher with Concordia Public Schools.

He was suspended from his teaching duties February 28th.
