Downs man found dead at Junction City truck stop

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Junction City Police Dept. says no foul play is suspected in the death of 38-year-old man who was found unresponsive in the cab of a tractor-trailer over the weekend.

Police say Michael Menzies, Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

According to JCPD, officers were called to the parking lot of Sapp Brothers Truck Stop on Saturday where they found the Downs man inside of a semi that was parked there.

No foul play is suspected in his death, investigators said. An autopsy was performed on Monday and they are currently awaiting the toxicology results.
