CLIFTON-CLYDE (WIBW) -- Clifton-Clyde Middle School Good Kids love Winter.

Mrs. Connie Winter, that is.

Math teacher Connie Winter has been battling cancer with her chemotherapy treatments for about a year. Students asked about money raised in their Eagle Pride laps event said they wanted to show their support for Mrs. Winter in some way.. you can see in this display on the football field.. they're all in!

Sydnie of their Student Council told Mrs. Winter about their support from pink out week.. with the staff and Clifton-Clyde's teams all wearing pink socks during home games last fall.

The sports wear items a little higher up were bracelets.. lots of them. even the Pre-K kids wore them to show support and raise money for Mrs. Winter, saying she could donate the funds to her favorite charity..

They quickly sold by the hundreds.. with nearly $5,000 raised in the bracelet sales.

13 News thanks the Good Kids at Clifton-Clyde Middle School, and hope they have a great rest of their 2017 school year.
