Advanced voting underway for Topeka's next mayor

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Advanced voting is underway to narrow down the field of candidates for Topeka's top spot.

All registered voters who live in Topeka city limits can cast ballots by mail or in person at the Election Office off SW Croix and Van Buren Streets. It's open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Primary Election is Tuesday, August 1st. The field of five candidates, Michelle De La Isla, Mark Weieser, Clark Trammel, Chris Schultz and Spencer Duncan, will be narrowed to two.
