TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The driver involved in a rollover wreck Tuesday in Geary Co. has died.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver of the car, Timothy Musil, 38, died following the crash on an I-70 exit ramp. He had been first taken to Geary Co. hospital before being flown to Stormont Vail.

Musil's two passengers, Brandi Clark, 33, of Oskaloosa, and Michael Mahoney, 34, of Topeka, were flown via Life Flight straight from the scene to Stormont Vail.

Authorities say Musil was heading west on I-70 at a high rate of speed when he tried getting off at the Humboldt Road exit, just east of the K-18 interchange. He was reportedly going too fast to negotiate the ramp. His 2013 Nissan went off the road and into the ditch where it went end over end three times before coming to a rest on its wheels.
