TOPEKA, Kan. (THE DRIVE) Kansas State beat Charlotte putting up another 55 points and keeping their opponent to just 7. After an easy walk in touchdown for Dimel, a big run from the ever elusive Ertz for another TD, and two defensive touchdowns for Kendall Adams, the Wildcats into half with a big 31-7 lead.

So far the Cats still look promising and will remain in the AP top 25. They play Vanderbilt next week before starting conference play against Baylor.

After a great win and record breaking season opener, the Jayhawks just couldn't keep the momentum going and lost to Central Michigan 45-27. Central Michigan had a total of 590 offensive yards against KU.

KU quarterback still had a decent game throwing for 323 yards but never made it to the endzone, and threw two interceptions. Lack of defense and turnovers is what lost this game for the Jayhawks.

KU had a nice reverse trick play which allowed Ryan Schadler to score. Another stand out player was freshman running back Dom Williams who had two touchdowns and 64 yards.

KU will travel to face Ohio for their last non-conference game this season.
