TOPEKA, Kan. (THE DRIVE) Kansas brings home another Big 12 tournament win after beating West Virginia 81-70 in the finals. Devonte Graham piled up 18 points and 13 assists, Silvio De Sousa came up big in place of Udoka Azubuike. De Sousa had 16 points on 8 of 8 shooting while grabbing 10 rebounds.

Kansas got the 1st seed in the Midwest and will play Penn for their first game of the NCAA tournament. The game will be held in Wichita.

Kansas State's Big 12 tournament came to end against KU. Dean Wade was out with a fracture in his foot, and Barry Brown only had a minute of play time, after getting hit in the eye. KU won 83-67, which for missing both of their top players wasn't too bad of a showing on the Wildcat's part. The condition of both players is still up in the air whether they will be able to play in a few days once the NCAA tournament starts.

Makol Mawien had a career high game of 29 points to keep the game close. This is the eighth straight win Kansas has had over K-State.

K-State managed to get a nine seed and will face Creighton in Charlotte for their first game. If they win, they will most likely face #1 Virginia in the South.

Other teams from the Big 12 that made it into the tournament and their first games include:

-WEST VIRGINIA #5 - MURRAY ST #12
