TOPEKA, Kan. (THE DRIVE) Kansas was able to come back after a loss at Baylor and pick up a win against Iowa State. Udoka Azubuike scored 19 points, Malik Newman had 17 beating Iowa State 83-77. Iowa State kept closing the gap but could never take the lead. This was a crucial win to keep KU's chance of their 14th consecutive title alive.

Azubuike had another big game, scoring 21 points against West Virginia. Both teams kept the game close at all times but KU came out on top beating West Virginia 77-69. Allen Fieldhouse is the one place West Virginia has yet to win at on the road since joining the conference in 2012.

This win pushes West Virginia done and now K-State are tied for third with them. KU faces Oklahoma next, with a struggling Trae Young.

Barry Brown finally decided to show back up with a 25 point game winning against Oklahoma State 82-72.

The Wildcats had a 12-0 run and went into the half leading 37-20. Kansas State has Stokes back, was shooting better, and only face conference opponents they have already beat once this season. The rest of the match up's are definitely winnable, Kansas State just needs to step it up for these last few games.

Dean Wade nearly grabbed a triple-double in Kansas State's 78-66 win over Iowa State. Barry Brown had 20 and Xavier Sneed had 17. Iowa State now will have a losing record as K-State moves to third in the Big 12. K-State hosts Texas next.
