TOPEKA, Kan. (THE DRIVE) Barry Brown scored 34 points, reigning Big 12 player of the week Dean Wade added 24 and Kansas State beat Baylor 90-83 on Monday night for its third straight victory.

This was another big win for the Cats, having come off beating two ranked opponents in a row. They continue to make minimal mistakes with turning the ball over, but haven't been great on offensive rebounds.

Kansas State outscored Georgia 12-2 in the final 6:11 to defeat the Bulldogs 56-51. Kansas State scored a lot less than they had been in the last couple games, but showed that they can close the gap and play big in the last couple minutes. This will be very helpful with Kansas game being their next match up.

Kansas State is now in a four way tie for second place in the Big 12, only trailing Kansas by one game. If Kansas State beats Kansas, they would be tied at the top of the leader board.

Kansas had a hard loss to Oklahoma, losing 85-80. Svi Mykhailiuk scored 24 points and Malik Newman added 20 for Kansas and have really stepped at lately for this Jayhawk team.

Oklahoma was able to put Udoka Azubuike at the line 7 different times, with him only making one shot total in the second half of the game.

Kansas was able to pick up another win against Texas A&M and now move their attention to match two of the Sunflower Showdown. Both teams will meet in Manhattan on Monday night.
