TOPEKA, Kan. (THE DRIVE) K-State was down 14-20 with two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Thompson was able to lead the Cats down the field and with eight seconds left, scrambled and found Zuber in the back of the end zone for the game winning touchdown. The 10-play, 87-yard drive took every second of the 1 minute, 55 seconds left in the game.

Thompson had a short run for a touchdown in the first quarter, but that would be the extent of the offense until the fourth quarter where K-State came back and scored two touchdowns to win 20-19. K-State used a trick play having Barnes throw to Dimel for the first score after utilizing the Wildcat formation to go down the field.

Skylar Thompson now has a couple of 4th quarter comeback games even though he is a Freshman and has only started less than half the season. K-State awaits to see what bowl game they will be going to. This will make eight in a row.

KU lost to Oklahoma State with Rudolph passing for over 400 yards and 4 touchdowns total. This makes KU's 45th consecutive road game loss, and brings their season to a close at 1-11.

It was also announced that they would be keeping Beaty going into next season.

Kansas basketball is the exact opposite story. So far they are 5-0 and have been putting up big numbers even with problems in depth. They have scored over 100 points twice and beat a top rank team Kentucky.

Many players including Udoka Azubuike and Svi Mykhailiuk have had career record setting games. Seven different players earned double figures in the game against Oakland, winning 102-59.
