Jayhawk of the Week - Andy Spencer

TOPEKA, Kan. (THE DRIVE) TCU trailed 80-76 with just over a minute remaining, but a parade of free throws closed the gap, and Alex Robinson's driving layup gave TCU the lead back with 31 seconds left

Frank Mason answered with a pair of free throws for Kansas (28-4), but the Horned Frogs got the ball to Bane in the corner and he was fouled by Svi Mykhailiuk while putting up a shot.

Bane calmly drained all three of them, and Devonte Graham's long 3 at the buzzer bounced off the rim as the Horned Frogs leaped off their benched to celebrate a massive upset of the No. 1 seed.

Even with the lose, the Kansas Jayhawks are the 1-seed in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament and will head to Tulsa, OK for the first round.

Kansas will face the winner of North Carolina Central vs. UC Davis in the first round. If the Jayhawks win, their next opponent will be the winner of 8-seed Miami (FL) vs. 9-seed Michigan State.

The Jayhawks finished the season 28-4 and won a 13th-consecutive Big 12 regular season title.

Andy Spencer, a KU Golfer, finished tied for eighth in the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate Tournament. Spencer shot a three-round total of 3-under 213. The team tied for fourth place.
