I take pride in calling Kansas my home. My hobbies include painting (while not very good), watching Star Trek or Star Wars, and playing with my two beautiful children.

Iā€™ve called Kansas my home almost all my life. I started in broadcasting at the age of 17, while still in High School at KOAM-TV in Pittsburg. I worked my way up the ranks, starting as a part-time news assistant, running cameras, editing video and even running to get coffee from time-to-time. Later, at the age of 20, I became the youngest news producer in KOAM-TV history, working on the morning show.

I then moved on to FOX Kansas in Wichita, serving in several different positions, including Promotions Coordinator.

In August of 2007, I took my talents to KSOK Radio in Arkansas City, KS, where I was news Director and co-host of the country music morning show.

Keeping in the news business, I moved on to KAKE-TV in Wichita to serve as News Assignment Editor, and then in Topeka at WIBW-AM where I was an anchor, reporter, news director and social media coordinator.
