PT’s Coffee Roasting Co. Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Free Coffee All Day

PT’s at College Hill, 1625 SW Washburn Ave, Topeka, KS 66604
PT’s Coffee Roasting Co. is celebrating their 25th anniversary in business and as a thank you to customers, they are offering free 8 oz drip coffee at all three of their retail stores in Kansas and Missouri during opening hours on Saturday, February 3, 2018.



They are also hosting a “Home Brewing Class” at all three locations from 1:00-1:30 p.m. In this class, participants will learn the four essential parameters to making a great cup of coffee: weight, grind, temperature, and time, using the single-cup pour over method with a Kalita Wave dripper and Comandante hand grinder. All participants in the class will receive a complimentary 12oz bag of one of their Direct Trade coffees. Space is limited. Spots can be reserved at www.ptscoffee.com/pages/home-brewing-demonstration
The “Home Brewing Class” is at all three locations from 1:00-1:30 p.m.

Why: To thank customers for patronizing their business for so many years and supporting their mission to bring the best coffee in the world, directly, from the best producers.



In addition:

In keeping with the company ethos of supporting Direct Trade partnerships PT’s will be donating $.50/bag of coffee to Grounds for Health from the sale of selected coffee produced by women for the months of February and March. The coffees and producers are:



§ Finca Kilimanjaro, Natural, Burundi, and Ethiopia processes produced by Aida Batlle

§ Finca Las Mercedes La Avila Double Soak, produced by Lucia Ortiz, and

§ Burundi Karehe, produced by IWCA Women’s Cooperative

The Clothing Exchange will be open Saturday, February 3 from 9:00am – 12:00pm (noon) and Saturday, February 10 from 9:00am – 12:00pm (noon). The Clothing Exchange offers free clothing and small household items. People may also bring gently used clothing to share. Clothing needs to be in good condition (you would still wear it) and clean.
