Valley Falls To Host Community Blood Drive
VALLEY FALLS, Kan. -- Last year, 28,000 individuals in our area needed in a blood transfusion. This year, the local needs for blood are expected to rise.
Community Blood Center, the provider of blood services to local hospitals, will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the Delaware Township Hall, 501 Broadway, Valley Falls.
Just one donation can help as many as two local hospital patients. Community Blood Center must collect at least 580 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of our area.
